the walls were intact but sasuke was still scared at the fact the tobirama raised his chakra level then hashirama raised his higher which made the whole room about to crumble you can see on the same page where hiruzen was talking about the second then the next panel it shows sasuke which in part shows sasuke was in fact threaten by tobirama but later everyone was threatened by hashirama
