Ever since Madara and Sasuke was reveled to be Indra, this became obvious.

The entire line of Indra has fallen to the dark side.


It's only fitting that the last Indra, Sasuke, be saved, thus ending the cycle.

If Madara was redeemed, it would end right there. It would weaken the story.

Sasuke isn't a villain. He's an anti-hero, and a logical alternative to Naruto. At this point in the war, I think a real moral argument can be made for why the Go-kage deserve to die. Thousands have died on their order, and given how they've conducted themselves in the war, they've shown pretty sad leadership.

Letting 2 17 year old kids fight half the war for them? Disgraceful, and pathetic.
