It was meant to happed this way from the start, from the very beginning when Naruto decided to break his promises of not using the fox’s chakra and took the path of free gifts and power-ups.

From the hard-working boy he degraded to the likes of someone who would exploit the being trapped in himself rather than rely on his own achievements.

Among this manga series there have been a lot of people who borrowed/copied/took from others; weapons, techniques, eyes, even DNA, but when you think that someone would feel alright with using an all-powerful beast so he could keep up with the big boys, you realize that the things are getting out of control.

People started it by taking the chakra from the tree, all ninja are part of this, but Naruto simply was the worst example. He was the greediest and the series showed us what happened with people like him.

It looks like Kishi decided to exemplarily punish Naruto, making from him an example for others. The one who relies the most on what is not his lost the fox to someone who at least wants to do something better with it.

No he doesn't he's trash it took him 90 years to even find someone to help him put his plan together found obit tried to manipulate him and failed miserably. Plus he wouldn't have been able to even compete without the firsts cells and took the eyes of his brother he would be a blind no body with out stolen power. 90 Percent of his power comes from others.

You do realize that Naruto only had BM for one night in manga time? Really it was more like a few hours at most with breaks in between. Therefore there is no way that Naruto has been greedy. He's had it for a very short time as opposed to Bee and Yagura who have been perfect jinchuurikis for years and as opposed to Madara who forcibly controlled Kurama. Kurama actually agreed to work with Naruto, so Naruto did not exploit him.
