I've seen people doubting it was BM and are now saying it was KM. Just to tell you that you're wrong. It's true that the inside is not totally the same with Naruto's version(maybe because he has the yin instead of the yang chakra), but if you look carefully at those pics you will see that it's more comparable to Naruto's BM than his KM version(just compare the rectangle and circle i draw along with each other in different versions)

But that's because of Minato's "Yondaime Hokage" cloak. If you look at both the stomachs on Edo Minato and KCM Naruto, they have the same exact seal. The seal on Edo Minato's stomach is different than the seal on BM Naruto's stomach

Maybe but look at the seal on Minato's arms. It's exactly like the one on BM Naruto's arms(KM doesn't have that). The same goes for the magatamas on the cloak

BM mode requires the jink and the bijuu to cooperate and mold their chakra together. Minato had only access to the half of Kurama's chakra not the bijuu itself. He only look like in BM because he already has a cloak on him.

Seal on Minato's arm is the same with Naruto's the first time he activated KM mode, where he used it sort of like a key to the seal on is stomach. Also the markings constantly change as seen on naruto, sometimes it goes all the way to his feet, sometimes the marking fades on his legs. It probably depends on how much kyuubi chakra they are using. When Naruto was trying to create bijuu dama during his fight against third raikage, his km mode shown full markings.
