I'm hearing people around saying Naruto died because we've seen Boruto with an implanted eye fighting against that Kawaki in a destroyed Konoha.
First of all, even if Boruto unlocked some power ups, it's highly improbable he came anywhere close to his dad's level. So if Kawaki is spending his time fighting him and talking to him (nobody in Naruto talks with people who are fodder compared to him) I believe Boruto is opposing some resistance, so Naruto >>>> Boruto =< Kawaki.
Second, the destruction caused by Kawaki is less than the one caused by Pain Deva: Konoha with Kawaki was just a bunch of collapsed buildings, while Pain made a huge chasm in the ground. Now, if Naruto endured a moon busting attack like it was nothing, a potency like the one of Kawaki isn't even enough to tickle him.
Third, this stuff of Naruto dying is not news. We believed he was going to die while fighting Sasuke, and that he really died after the first clash of Momoshiki. But he wasn't dead at all.
Fourth, he's the protagonist, a character who thrilled a whole generation. They can't kill him like this, or fans will get super mad.
Fifth, damn, Naruto is a powerhouse with tons of experience. I really doubt a random guy like Kawaki can manage to kill him when Momoshiki, Sasuke and Kaguya couldn't.
