it's stated it can burn everything it touches. .possible reason y it didn't burn obito's staff could be that staff absorbed the amaterasu chakra. .that 4+ elements jutsu is kind of similar to his Kamui tech. . .it can absorb, make him invulnerable to explosions etc. IMO

I see, well it's possible since wood dragon can absorb chakra. But it seemed like he just blocked it to me.
