So, how does minato manage to defeat the kyuubi when its a neverending battle and seal his powers when they are both just chakraless souls?

Not at all. I just find it sketchy as hell that Naruto's hair in kyuubi mode just HAPPENS to stand up in two need little tufts like the sage's head.

With Kishi... Sketchy things are just too annoying. They never get addressed and it leaves you wondering.

I don't think anything. Minato looks weird as f*ck and I don't know why.

I know what they should symbolize, so I'm not quite sure why Kishi is making Minato look like dbz character. It feels way too generic.

My point is... The design is sloppy. There are horns but they look pretty bad and way off from the Naruto design. I know Kishi wanted to give Minato a difference and I get that... I just wished it looked closer to the sage and Naruto.

I can't quite explain it but it's rubbing me the wrong way. :'(

But in the end, yes. They do symbolize the same thing. Which is the sage and that Kurama's chakra is some mad special stuff
