...the first birthday gift Naruto got from his mother and father were their lives, half of Kurama and above everything, their love through the ultimate sacrifice.

In the end we know that they, even if they didn't live with Naruto, they were always with him, and protected him in the hardest moments, after their deaths.

Kushina may not have been the best Kyuubi's Jinchuuriki, and Minato may not have been the best Hokage. But I know something for sure... they both were the bests parents on Narutoverse.

Whilst the 9 tails attack flashback is incredibly tragic and wonderfully written, I only feel bad for Kushina for some reason? Minato did NOT need to orphanise his own son any way you look at it. I cannot feel bad for a character like that, the only reason he sacrificed himself is for plot.

You have valid points right there, but Naruto already stated that Minato did everything Naruto could ask for. Even if Minato didn't what a normal parent would do (because of selfishness), Jirayia stated that Minato was his student, and he wasn't the type of guy who would do something like this without a valid reason.

This said, there is still unknown information that Kishimoto hasn't freed yet, or maybe people are missing something important.

I kinda agree, but I think Sasuke's parents could match them. I mean, just look they preferred to die by Itachi's hands, rather than fighting him.
