SPOILERS FROM 699 AND 700
Just like the rest of you, I read naruto 699 (kinda the last chapter) and 700 (effectively the epilogue)
I read it, saw some things i like, some I didn't, but it was good.
But something JUST NOW hit me. Like for example, the reveal of naruto's face on the stone at the end didn't really feel big because through context of the chapter, it was obvious naruto was hokage.
But this was even bigger. When i saw naruto and his family and him being with hinata, it didn't register. it was no big deal. Because i expected it. In my head a LONG TIME AGO, i decided that he probably would end up with her. it didn't even strike me as odd. Also people (who i'm very mad at) kept posting shit about them being together and put that info in the title's of their threads etc. But i ALWAYS just ASSUMED they'd be together:
Here's where i cut to the chase, sorry for rambling: It just occurred to me that this thing i took for granted and assumed would happen, wasn't a certainty. Not everyone thought that. Some thought SAKURA would be his bride. Even in the last arc, people thought this.
So to someone like ME it wasn't a big deal:
But this official seals it: naruhina happened, narusaku didn't. Which is fine, i'm cool with either. This isn't an "IN YOUR FACE" thing, i just was so prepared for that to happen, it didn't even occur to me that YEARS of debating was ended. So casually. like, they aren't even ever together in that chapter, its only through them having kids similar etc and some dialogue. TECHNICALLY its never outright stated, but we can read between the lines.
how do you guys feel about them being together. this isn't meant to be a ship thread. I am just curious how you think naruhina was handled in this chapter.
