It is funny how people say ET does not count but then say that bijus count in top 10

Evidently, the said individuals are still in unawares of what is 'Power'----it is the ability to 'do something'. If something is used to increase a characters ability to win a battle, then it is their power. The Edo Tensei kuchiyose, regular kuchiyose [such as the Gama elements] and Bijuu may fall under the category of one's power, being an aid to their overall ability. Similarly in the past, though dross, some were even claiming that Kyuubi isn't/wasn't apart of Madara's power. ​

You're probably referring to a VS matchup where there are pre-requisites and certain restrictions to a match in order to establish this 'fairness' but in a general character discussion there is no reason to reserve potential. ​

I'm sorry, but i don't consider Kabuto better than anyone just because he can summon Madara and go masterbate while he does all the work for him.

Give Tenten edo tensei and she's instantly #1 regardless of skill. Just my opinion though. That's why i don't do top 10's.

I don't personally consider summons, but i'm not as angry when people use them in debates. I mostly argue against edo tensei because they're shinobi who have actual battle-deciding power. Animals just seem.... weaker to me. I still don't consider it a 1v1 in that situation though.

That's why i said I don't consider summons. You are free to consider them all you wish. And that scan just proves that Kabuto relies on other's powers, the same way a 5"1' 75lb man may rely on a gun to win a fight.

Some people say that with ET the edos can do what they want. Kyuubi and habachi have freedom to do what they want. The bijus can be controlled just like ET.

Some people say it is not his power. The kyuubi is not narutos power , habachi is not bees power and yogaras biju is not his power. It is the same as using ET. Some people are being major hypocrites.

i disagreed for one sole reason and that is i think both should count...! as there are shinobi who can suppress biju power so are there shinobi who can suppress edo tensei....! e.g 3rd hokage did against orochimaru and i think 2nd, 4th, jiraya etc can do the same or may be even better...! so i think it is a jutsu that is developed with effort and biju is tamed with effort so both should count....!

I don't even like the guy but come on. He can use an entire army's worth of Edo. In a one-on-one fight he stomps anyone without even having to use his Dragon Sage Mode if he uses ET

Bijuus and edo tensei are quite different.

Bijuu powers, require either intense training, to be able to use, or the bijuu to be friendly with the host.

So either it requires someone to either be strong enough to fight the beast for power and win, or it requires the beast to cooperate.

Edo tensei, however just require some simple hand seals, a few fodder bodies, and voila you have a super army of undying zombies, with limitless chakra. It does not require any skill other than grave digging, and the ability to hold low level people/ ninja alive/hostage.

Also the bijuus, are sealed inside the person, and POWER UP the person who controls it.

The edo tensei user simply controls a bunch of EXTERNAL ninjas. They do not recieve any power ups themselves.



Now actual edo tensei zombies do not count as their own power(such as et hashi vs madara)

As they cannot revive themselves, and are not capable of doing things they couldnt before their death.




In conclusion, Edo tensei shouldnt be held as a true power up/ part of someones power, since it does not actually increase their power at all. It should be counted as part of somones arsenal, like a tool.

Bijuus, count as a powerup, when they are in jins, as they power up the user themselves. When not jins(controlled by sharingan etc) they are tools that are part of someones arsenal, like edotensei.

Akamaru is kibas tool for example.


So in truth it is up to the individual person, to make a top ten list, based on raw power, or overall power, or destructive power.

I personally go by just sheer power of the individual. I do not count edo tensei, in this regard, because it is not a part of just sheer raw power.

Edo tensei could work fine for other types of top ten threads.

I personally dont have any top ten list at all.


But again, if someone makes a top ten list, of just top ten ninjas(no specifications, of like raw power etc) then edo tensei users(kabuto) (oro) and (tobirama) can be included. However they are limited to techniques, and edos they have actually used and controlled, and are not able to used someone they havent used.

Example. Kabuto cant count edo hokages as part of his edo arsenal because he never summoned them.


That is my opinion at least.

Gaara kills Naruto, Gamabunta kills Gaara.

Now did Naruto win, or Gamabunta?

Naruto vs Orochimaru

Kyuubi takes over Naruto, and does a TBB.

Did Naruto create it, or did Kyuubi?

Naruto vs Obito

Kyuubi willingly hands Naruto chakra, and Naruto does a TBB in his free will.

Again, did Naruto create it, or did Kyuubi?

Sure if you have a fighting style made for Edos like Tobirama.. then Edos are your power..

But when the only thing your doing is letting the edos do the work for you.. they aren't your power.
