Actually not all Itachi fans are like that.
I do agree that Sasuke surpassed Itachi as soon as he got EMS & was on the battlefield. I thought that was pretty obvious.

And imo, Itachi is still top ten when we don't include the Sage and his family. But I would never put him at 7 or above.

And I know that Healthy Itachi is considered fanfic, but he wasn't sick all his life and Zetsu did make quite a few comments during his fight with Sasuke showing that he was surprised that Itachi's reaction time was the way it was. Also, that's the equivalent of saying that there is no healthy sage of the six paths when there is one. I just evaluate characters at their best point. So I just consider it to be canon only due to that. Otherwise, Minato would be above Itachi. But I wouldn't put Tobirama above the Itachi we saw, because even though he's done some impressive things during the war arc, he lacks feats to me. U_U

Well, this has been official ever since Sasuke had EMS, but now for sure, Sasuke has surpassed Itachi BY FAR.
I know most, if not ALL Itachi fans will naturally, and automatically disagree. But honestly here...

Yea, in part 1, was definitely top 5. But as shipuuden came, and the war started, seems Itachi dosent even make top 10, if he does its usually his fans putting him at 7 or higher.

I like him, he was wise, combat experience was superb. But I think he reached his maximum potential when he fought Sasuke. I mean, at 13 he was already leagues above his peers, but I think after the uchiha incident, and achieving Susanoo, thats where his growth ends. He could have possibly become more skilled at sharingan usage, but other than that no.

Sasuke however is pretty smart himself. When he had MS, he was still below itachi. But it seems he has gotten wiser over the course of the war as well. And seemingly isnt that emo brat that he used to be. On top of that, he has EMS which is greater than MS..and now, the moment all Sasuke fans have awaited, he has awaken the full power of Rinnigan. Yes, full power, his eye has the sharingan and Rinnigan pattern. Most people will say, "its only in one eye." Okay..well its only suppose to be in one eye. Kaguya had it in one eye, and so did the Juubi (who is kaguya)
He can perform all the rinnigan AND all of his sharingan techs.

Nothing in Itachi arsenal now can effect Sasuke. And Sasuke seemingly has calmed down ALOT, so he dosent rush in battle, instead, he seems to be observing before making his decions.

I say now, recent Sasuke solo itachi low diff. He has finally surpassed his brother.

Healthy MS Itachi > EMS Sasuke. It makes me laugh when people think Sasuke was stronger with just EMS. Why do you think Sasuke needed to get such a huge power up? Kishi finally needed to break the barrier (power wise) between the two. Sasuke would of died multiple times if it weren't for Itachi in their battle against Kabuto. Itachi had to save his ass multiple times and leave himself open because of it. Sasuke would of been obliterated if Itachi hadn't been there. The funny thing is, Itachi fought Kabuto having empathy and compassion for him and not even trying to kill him. And he still won, with Sasuke doing nothing.

Of course, current Rinnegan+EMS+50% Hagoromo = Sasuke > Itachi power wise. Itachi > Sasuke in any and all other aspects, even with his power up. MS Itachi crushes EMS Sasuke. I'll prove it if you want.

You can spam your MS techniques without Chakra tax and achieve the perfect Susanoo, which a MS user could never bear with the disadvantages of the eyes.
