Honestly Sasuke almost got none of his power on his own. The Curse Mark, given to him from Oro. MS Sharingan, because of Itachi. EMS Sharingan, because of Itachi. His new power up, because of Hagoromo. The only reason Madara, Sasuke, Naruto, and Obito have these new powers is strictly because of plot. Though I agree, at this point Sasuke is most likely stronger. Once we see him in action we'll get to see for sure .

Using your logic also, itachi got Ms becos of shisui. How they got powers is irrelevant, its jus burthurt fans who use that sillyy argument when their fav character is weaker than another. All joking aside if the hype is true then the Yata mirror would protect him long enough to seal Sasuke, effectively killing him... if the hype is true that is. If the true power of either of those items are any less then what is rumored then Sasuke would beat Itachi. Genjutsu wont work. Sasuke has already proven he can fight against it and he would control any Ameterasu Itachi sends at him.

Actually not all Itachi fans are like that.
I do agree that Sasuke surpassed Itachi as soon as he got EMS & was on the battlefield. I thought that was pretty obvious.

And imo, Itachi is still top ten when we don't include the Sage and his family. But I would never put him at 7 or above.

And I know that Healthy Itachi is considered fanfic, but he wasn't sick all his life and Zetsu did make quite a few comments during his fight with Sasuke showing that he was surprised that Itachi's reaction time was the way it was. Also, that's the equivalent of saying that there is no healthy sage of the six paths when there is one. I just evaluate characters at their best point. So I just consider it to be canon only due to that. Otherwise, Minato would be above Itachi. But I wouldn't put Tobirama above the Itachi we saw, because even though he's done some impressive things during the war arc, he lacks feats to me. U_U
