I believe the mystery person approaching Sasuke is Kabuto. I think he finally accepted his fate and got out Izanami.

How's Kabuto going to finish off Sasuke when Sasuke is already dead? Kabuto is a medical ninja so it's more likely that Kabuto will SAVE Sasuke.

Cfighter, that would defeat the entire purpose of Izanami which was to turn Kabuto into a good guy. Not to mention he owes Sasuke a favor for sparing his life. Anyways it could also be the Tsuchikage since the angle is so thin. This is assuming Kishimoto didn't rush the art.

Izanami just makes you accept reality, not exactly forces you to have a change in heart. All Kabuto has to do is accept himself for who he is, and not trying to be someone else. He can still want to be a villain, though since you mentioned it, he probably doesn't.
