Obito had to die. (although we not be sure yet because he does seem to be a cockroach.

The reason being is this. He'd be overpowered after Kaguya's demise. Not that he'd be a villain, but there wouldn't be a single Ninja in this series that could even touch him, literally. No more dimension travelers=Obito is untouchable with both his eyes. And who knows what powers he may have found to have had after some practice with both of them.

Kakashi was the single redeeming character the oposition had to win just because he could throw random attacks and weapons through his Kamui.

So good or bad I don't think Kishi would have let a troll power character survive like that.

Still doesn't mean I didn't like him as a character, but he should die..lets all remember his glory days as goofy a** tobi.

Seriously, with naruto and sasuke's sensing(and naruto's danger sensing) and that insane speed and reaction speed they have, do you really think obito has any chance?

They'll crush him even before he has time to activate kamui.

We already knew he was going to due given the exchange of glances naruto and obito gave each other.
I for one though the way he dies we alright,but what got him there is where my problem lies.
Nothing was gained from sasuke going into the other dimension (Other than sasuke displaying the mechanics behind his justu,which i think could of been implemented in another way especially since obito would of been on their team)
Obito goes in and gets him out and just like that obito's eyes are damaged (I know the dimensions were far,still pretty whack)
I would of rather seen obito lend actual aid in the fight against her not as a search and rescue squad

To me it was a shoddy plot device to get his eyes out of the picture entirely

there was no purpose of sasuke being seperated other than letting obito and sakura do something and have him reunite two people whos lives he screwed up. its sweet.

If he does survive, he will do what I think Naruto will do: Leave behind their warrior ways, travel the world, and try to teach people how to be peaceful. I don't think he's going to stay in a militarized village and just do business like usual.
