Kishi had to make it so that Naruto and Sasuke had a final battle, and that it would be epic. However to do so, they had to be at full power. This means that they couldn't exert too much of their power on fighting Kaguya since they need all their power when fighting each other.

That's why he made the Kaguya fight so underwhelming. It was never supposed to be the final fight, it was just fodder/filler where Naruto and Sasuke effortlessly seal her, because the whole point of the Arc was not how to defeat the final villain (Kaguya), it was what happens after, in this case, how will the Ninja world be changed.

No doubt that this fight is going to be epic, way better than Kaguya vs Team 7 What are your thoughts NB? Would you have preferred a better Kaguya fight and no Naruto vs Sasuke? or are you fine with the way things turned out?

I would've preferred if the Kaguya fight was more epic at the cost of Naruto vs Sasuke.

The kaguya battle was terrible cause of Kishi's writing. And regardless of this so called justification for the battle being terrible it is still sinful writing.
