Isshin couldn't be the 10 captain , in the episode of Urahara they say that the 10 captain died in battle but later (can't remember where) it is said that the 10 division had no captain until toshiro was promoted , and Isshin was captain when Urahara was in the human world so it was impossible for Isshin to be captain i think this was a**pulled by kubo

If you're referring to the Turn Back the Pendulum chapters, then you're wrong.
That was 100 years ago. Whatever 10th Division Captain that died back then was replaced by Isshin afterwards. It's common sense.

The manga never said there wasn't a Captain until Hitsugaya. You don't know what you're talking about.

They covered up Isshin leaving by saying he died in battle, there was no one in the field except Aizen, Gin and Tosen to confirm it and neither wouldnt risk jeopardizing their situations.

urahara was exiled from ss by the time isshin was captain cuz we saw him in his exiled cloths at karakura town, the captain that died was before isshin

Time passes at the same rate in both worlds. The only difference is Shinigami don't age at the same rate as humans.



Isshin was not the 10th Division Captain 100 years ago. Isshin replaced whoever died. The events of Isshin's flashback happened 20 years ago.

How the hell else would Gin and Tousen be Captains?
