I was just reading some posts and i saw someone bring up the point that Sasuke and Itachi could not reverse or even break out of the sound genjutsu used by the Tayuya doppelganger inside of Kabuto.
Frankly, i find this to be completely plot, and BS. There is no discernible difference between sound based genjutsu and any other type of genjutsu other than the fact that sound genjutsu can catch you more easily.
I don't understand how Itachi could not simply just use the "Heaven and Earth Change" genjutsu reversal technique to dispel it,
or why sasuke, who has the sharingan, could not just dispel it normally like any other genjutsu in the face of the sharingan.
Sure, most of you will say that it must have simply been a stronger genjutsu than Itachi can handle, a genjutsu of a "higher level" than the one kurenai used.
However, this same genjutsu was EASILY broken by shikimaru
simply by pain. No sharingan. No special genjutsu training.
I just don't understand how two masters of the sharingan, the dojutsu that gives complete control over genjutsu and gives the ability to break any and all genjutsu, cannot break out of a simple genjutsu... I just don't get it.
