[Discussion] Isnt rinnegan suppose to be rare?

As the title says but unfortunately it seems like rinnegan is not rare anymore and every rinnegan villian is being soloed by naruto.

Naruto has already fought and defeated all of them except 2 rinnegan eyes madara:

-Pain (Rinnegan user)
-Obito (Had rinnegan and used Outer Path)
-Madara (Defeated 1 rinnegan eye madara. Didnt defeat 2 rinnegan eyes madara though because of BZ intervention)
-Sasuke (Rinnegan user)



Now naruto is going to fight and take more rinnegan users down:

Underlings:
-Momoshiki
-Kinshiki

Main Villian:



It also implies that Rikudo Sage Mode is really rare . Every unique ability is rare that's the reason RSM is only belongs to naruto U_U.

The Rinnegan is rare, think about we have only had three people with the Rinnegan. The Sage, Madara, Sasuke. Everyone else used Madara's eyes in transplant form so they could not use the power to the full extent.

By that reasoning wood style is common. IT ISN'T! Hashirama is the ONLY one who can use it naturally. The others used his cells to gain that ability. That doesn't make its occurrence any less rare.

Likewise, Rinnegan is rare except even more so, because, from the Hagoromo's time hundreds/thousands of years ago, it has occured three times. And the latter two occurrences required outside influence (Hashi's senju cells and Hagoromu's Chakra) in order to awaken. So, in thousands of years, it has only occured 3 times, and Unlike Hashi's cells, only one person can have a given eye at a time. Think diamonds: is a diamond less rare because it has had a lot of owners? Of course not!

Just Kaguya, Hagoromo, Madara and Sasuke have Rinnegan. At least all we know atm. It's superb rare if you are going to compare to all world population from start... 4 / billions....

It was never stated that using Rinnegan was rare. It was only stated that obtaining rinnegan was rare and that statement stays true. Only 4 people have ever obtained rinnegan. Kaguya, Rikudo, Madara, and Sasuke. Obito and Nagato only used rinnegan but never awakened it on their own.

It's like Sharingan. Obito gave it to kakashi even though kakashi could never awaken Sharingan because he isn't an uchiha with the keke genkai. But he is able to use it. Once the eye is awaken it can be used by certain individuals, but only certain people can awaken it.

LOL. Just remembered this thread. Thread solod by the new trailer. Only Momoshiki has the rinnegan on his palms. Kinshiki doesn't, and his rinnegan are on his hands. Doesn't seem so natural, but I will count it.
