Kishimotos symbol of hard work has been trolled so hard. 'If i do not do 1000 push ups i will do 2000 sit ups'. Its sad that Lee was supposed to be the guy who gave everyone hope that if you work hard you can surpass those pricks who are born as genius's.(no offence) Lees message was a good one but then when you realise he has actually never won a CANON fight. Im sorry but fighting yourself is meh. There has been no opponent of significant strength that he's beaten and he's been reduced to fodder level. Its like damn what was all the work for.. The only people who excel in Naruto are the reincarnations of god like figures, born geniuses or people from o.p clans with a kekkeo genkai. Its a shame.
I class gai as a genius in taijitsu tbh so i dobt see him the same way as lee.
Please don't call naruto the symbol of hard work. I do not consider a guy who is the child or prophecy, the reincarnation of the son of the sage, the son of the 4th hokage, the one who was handed powers by the sage and the one who is a jinchuriiki as a 'hard worker'
