I love and hate how people forget a Kunai to the brains can kill you. Or how a explosive tag can send your parts scattering.

Every Jutsu is a weapon that can kill, Chidori to the heart can kill, a Rasengan to the stomach can result in cardiac arrest. It's more about effiency than power, people seem to forget that.

Remember how poison was like the ideal thing ever? Jiraiya being poisoned couldn't even mould chakra properly, nonetheless even through a kunai straight.

All this VS. Threads is a bit redundant when taking this into account.

After all, both Madara and Jiraiya died being stabbed in fatal places

Indeed but it also matters who is using said technique. Poison from Tsunade and poison from sasori will have different effects. A lot of things in the manga should kill under normal circumstances but don't in the manga.
