[Discussion] Is Zoro immune to Mero Mero Mellow?

For those of you who don't know what Mero Mero Mellow is, it is that beam that Hancock used to try and turn Luffy into stone, but it failed since Luffy doesn't have even a slight amount of lust. So do you think Zoro would be immune to it too?

Zoro follows the moral code of conduct followed by Samurai which isn't to say he wld b immune to feelings such as lust but that he is well disciplined in such matters and in battle his battle instinct takes over so i doubt he wld b checking her out if the objective was to defeat her n he is quite the tool(such as Luffy) so that n being oblivious of lots of things may come in handy when such powers r aimed at u(I mean if some one told to never think of Hancock's beauty coz then she beats u, it wld quite harder to purge thoughts of said beauty than before were u might not have even have thought of it).

yes he would be affected because Tashigi made him blush a couple of times and he discriminates when fighting women. See the fight with Monet. So he thinks differently about women, where Luffy doesn't. Luffy's pureness and innocence prevented him from turning to stone.

Zoro and all other men can prevent it with strong will and focusing on other things like pain. This is how Momonga dealt with it. Momonga also doesn't strike you as a person that is easily persuaded by beauty.

The fact that he also reacted seeing kokoro-baasan being a mermaid leads me to think he does have lust. Plus those moments with tashiji agitate him very much so.

Oda actually said he doesn't wanna throw romance into the mix a little while ago. I think he said something like "they're in love with the sea."
