Is Zetsu from the hidden grass village?

i was just wondering of which village Zetsu originated from, i was thinking the grass village, because of his plant-like appearance, and his fauna-like techniques.

any ideas......?

Seems like his home village hasnt been revailed yet.
Have been looking around all over the web and only in random forums they state that he's from hidden leave village but I wouldnt take that for sure.

Yes , Madara mentioned it when he was talking to Sasuke after Itachi died.
She was from the Uchiha clan aswell
