[Question] Is Whitebeard more destructive than Madara?

No. If we are going off of hype madara still wins as he said a single slash of his blade is enough to destroy all life on the planet. A single sword swing destroyed a mountain and WB had a hard time bringing down a fortress. TBB's are still much more destructive than anything WB has shown. If you wanna talk about the "power to destroy the world", I am pretty sure that wasn't literal, but was in regards to bringing down the government, not cracking the world like an egg.

Take it as you will. The anime translates it the same as the second. And no, I don't take either literally, but if you were madara wins. He did destroy more than just mountains, reread the fight between him and hashi. That mountain was with one swing which likely wasn't even full power. WB on the other hand failed to bring down marineford with gura punches. The tsunami would have smashed and damaged and submerged the island temporarily. It wouldn't have destroyed it like that mountain was.
