I never said it couldn't be a discussion, i just said we literally don't know how strong the Shogun is, and that's a fact because we don't. The WG not meddling with the people of Wano doesn't mean the Shogun is a definitive Top Tier, and for all we know they may not meddle with Wano because of Kaido for all we know, that's just goes to show how little info we have about the country. Because after all, Kaido most likely resides there. The Shogun can be Calamity level and above the dog and cat and all the other samurai can be above the minks and the WGs fear would still be justified, Kaido's involvement there would be the icing on the cake. What reasons? Guarantee those reasons can just be applied to Zoro, Sanji, and Jinbei fighting the Calamities instead.
Yeah, and we know nothing about Wano and how it's gonna do down at all. By this lame logic, we shouldn't be having this thread/discussion at all. Everything here is going to be hypothetical guesswork at best.
He's the warrior leader of a warrior nation whose strength is so renowned and revered, the WG lets it do whatever it wants and no one disturbs it. It makes perfect sense for the Shogun to be on the level of a top tier. The next time you reply to me, leave the BS buzzwords out and make an actual argument.
We have no idea how that fight went down. Not to mention that large scale fights go differently than 1 vs 1s due to the chaotic randomness and countless scenarios of chance that can play out. And that's ignoring that Marco could simply be stronger now than he was then.
This is a rather dumb thing to say considering the generation immediately before the new one is still very much a relevant threat to them.
Right because there's absolutely no way 3>1 can be a concept any one will ever be capable of ever understanding.
The old gen being relevant doesn't change a single thing i said, they can still be relevant without being stronger than the SN's and taking the spotlight from them. Katakuri was beaten by Luffy last arc, Doflamingo was beaten before, Marcos status as a pirate is no different than there's. Marco has been a WB underling for over 20 years now and was never admiral or Yonko level, why would that all of a sudden change now? Like Macho said above, he can fight Weevil or King and he still would have done plenty in this war to contribute to the alliances victory. He wouldn't be a useless bum all of a sudden just because he wont beat a top tier.
I completely understand the concept, that in no way means Marco should be stronger than them. There's just simply no way Luffy is going to have a Yonko's defeat under his resume and still be weaker than Marco, 3 on 1 or not. In fact, Luffy just beat a guy who's most definitely on Marcos general level in Katakuri. Not to mention this aint Marco's alliance, Luffy cant lead the alliance if Marco is stronger that makes no sense. Every thing points to Marco staying on the same level he was during MF just simply some new moves we haven't seen, he most definitely wont be stronger than the guys that will defeat Kaido when its all said and done. Whether they be slightly stronger than him or not it doesn't matter.
Of course this is all just my opinion
