Sakura can't even fight against an KCM/BM Naruto nor an EMS Sasuke. Let alone RSM Naruto and Sharringan Sasuke, she is ultimately weak against both of them it is laughable.

She can't stop RS, let alone his other rasengan variants. KCM blizts Sakura to kingdom come, and I'm not even mentioning the Kurama avatar which will send her to her knees.

Sasuke alone needs a simple glance to destroy Sakura's character development. Byakugou does not prevent her from getting genjutsu'd, no facts support this. Let alone Amaterasu, Kagutsuchi, and Chidori variants. Not to mention Sasuke blitz her as-well (Made a vs thread about War Arc Sakura vs Hebi Sasuke, she got decimated each time. Same with RasenShuriken Naruto U_U)

Assuming DNA/genes works in Naruto the same way as it does in the real world, it's possible.

First off, a short and sweet, 'clear' answer:

Theoretically, Tsunade and Yamato should both be capable off passing it down through breeding, though Yamato has more potential, since his genes are essentially the same.

Now, more details:

1. Tsunade is 2 generations off Hashirama, and although it's likely that she no longer posses 'all' the genes to pass it on, there's a chance she could.

2. Yamato is a 'genetically engineered' mutant. All his cells were supposedly infused with Hashirama's RNA, which is why all his peers died. His DNA now has the mokuton genes, and his RNA will have them as well. If sperm from him with RNA that has all necessary mokuton genes, succesfully fertilizes an egg (even from a fodder like Sakura), and a baby is successfully born, that baby has high potential.

See, having the DNA doesn't mean the genes get passed on either, as most abilities are based on multiple genes that all need to be included in one full RNA strand.


Now for even more info:

Mokuton depends on genes, but also on transmigration. To-date, all mokuton users apart from Hashirama himself have done so through his very DNA. No other senju has ever been born with it, before or after Hashirama. And what else makes Hashirama unique? corrent - he's Ashura's transmigrant.

Now, Yamato's use of mokuton may mean that it is possible without transmigration, but it may also not mean so, as Yamato may simply have received some of the transmigration material, be it DNA, or otherwise.

Tsunade is obviously the only person in the manga that actually carries Hashirama's dna in her. She's her grandchild. Thus her genes are the closest to those of Hashirama's.

Actually, Yamato caries that DNA as well, and is perfectly capable of passing it on. Read my detailed post above.


While Madara, Danzo, Naruto and Obito got partial transplants, and won't be able to pass on the genes, Yamato got a full transfusion, and will be able to pass it on.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Yamato completely. He has the closest genes to those of Hashirama's. After that it's just Tsunade.

i would like to say it maybe possible in part 3 if Kishi allow her in (her Last) battle.

First; because she making naruto hand with hashirama cells mean she currently in research about Mokyuton.

Secondly; after *****-slap with Madara she maybe realize as a scientist, if non-senju like fodara and fomato have mokyuton why as directly connect with hashirama dna she unable to unlock it even as the closes person for it.

Third; a foreshadowing given by Kishimoto; The Shinkostun forest a place to learn senjutsu, Tsunade train and get Katsuyu contract there before.

Wrong Tsunade is the last Senju and the only person that can use wood jutsu is Naruto Uzumaki via the SO6P IN Him and Ashura,that leaves Captain Yamato who’s DNA mix with the First Hokage. Tsunade is now 50+ closer to 60 by chapter 700 leaving only two people to pass on that power to their descendants Yamato and Naruto,Boruto and His Sister may have it either active or dormant time will tell. Tsunade is not going on a Baby baring campaign at Her age.
