He isn't going to tell anyone his real favourite character.When giving interviews, the Last was going on or she married Naruto.So of course he has to call her his fav. Its marketing.He has changed his male fav more than once

To Kishi the perfect women is someone that falls in love with a boy at 8 years old regardless of if they really know them or not and then continues loving them no matter what for the rest of their lives. They then finally get to marry them and take their proper place in the kitchen.

No she is not. She is just a boring character with the personality of a rock designed initially to wank Naruto before anyone else did and contribute to Neji's development. She attracts the fanboys who idealize a shy big boobed girl that will worship whatever they do even when they

If Hinata's sad weak character that never even competed in a fight much less won one is his favorite then who needs enemies and shows how little he cares about any female characters. My opinion from reading all of Kishi's interviews is that he does not care about any of his female characters including Hinata but if he had to pick one he would say Hinata because she is the character that somehow became super popular in spite of him never actually putting any effort into developing her character outside of someone that worships Naruto.
