I think if you wanna come in legally, and do it the right way, sure but if you want to come here illegally, live off of wellfare and while I bust my ass is not okay. Most illegal immigrants come from overseas and overstay their work-visas, not from Mexico. In fact there is a net-negative where more Mexicans are leaving the U.S. than coming in. Yet you want to spend billions on a pointless wall?

The idea that illegal immigrants are able to get welfare and are abusing it is a complete myth. Most illegal immigrants pay taxes and the majority of welfare users are Disabled or Elderly.
And is welfare really your greatest concern? Not healthcare, education, infrastructure, money in politics, foreign intervention, social security, or the environment?
Welfare is only 6% of the federal budget. Tax payers spend about $36 on it the entire year (assuming you make 50k). So the idea that you're busting your ass to pay for someone on welfare is a gross overstatement. But $36 is what makes you vote for Trump?
Trump's whole shtick was buy American and hire American yet of the 144 openings he hires 70 foreigners and only one American. Hmm.
Trump tried to end a $460 million program to provide housing for homeless veterans and also proposed cutting programs that helped disabled vets in early budget drafts. He changed his mind after the severe backlash, but would you consider him being a friend of veterans after attempting such legislation?
