Is tobi trying to assemble the paths?

Hey guys, I was looking through some old chapters and I found something quite interesting. As we all know, there are six paths in the naruto universe. Somehow, specific people are related to the 6 destined paths as seen here:

According to Tobi, he has his power (which seems to be one path) as well as Hasirama's, which seems to be the other. Now we all know that there are six paths, so what are the other 4? Well number three is here :

As you can see, Nagato is the third path. Do you think this has something to do with the story line? What are your thoughts, is he trying to assemble the paths to become closer to the sage of six paths? As we know, tobi wants to become the jinchuriki of the Juubi. In order to tame such a thing, he will need to be more like the So6P. Do you think he's trying to become more like him, by assembling the paths into his body?

I don't think Kishi would just throw this out there for no reason.

He meant that the two (Uchiha/Senju) of the Six Paths (SO6P) are one, meaning he has Senju DNA and the Sharingan.

On the second one, he is talking about Nagato being the third Sage of the Six Paths, Madara being the second one, and SO6P being the first one.

On the second one, he is talking about Nagato being the third Sage of the Six Paths, Madara being the second one, and SO6P being the first one.

Yeah u took it all wrong, the people above me have explained it fully. I just made a huge thread today about that very subject tho, and it was after watching that same part in the anime! hahahahaha +rep for that

How was madara the second sage?

Madara was the second one to possess:

1. Rinnegan
2. Senju DNA
3. Uchiha DNA

So, I'd say that's why.

Nagato likely has all of the above as well, either Nagato was given the Sharingan/Rinnegan or his dad was an Uchiha.

1st Sage would be THE Sage.
2nd sage would be Madara since he got it second
3rd sage would be Nagato since he got it third
4th sage would be Tobi since he got it fourth

Should'nt you learn sage mode first to become a sage? I mean like kabuto and Naruto, the sage may of mastered sage mode first before he sealed the juubi. There is no sense in calling yourself a sage if you don't master sage mode
