Is he not aware that he has the rinnegan? Why is he using the sharingan more than his rinnegan? He could of absorbed Naurto's rasengan easily and his mask wouldn't of break... Please tell me I'm not missing something about Tobi's rinnegan lol

Well unless he did that on purpose to show them his identity but it doesn't explain the first time he got hit with the rasengan.

Well he only has one maybe the chakra drain is too much because he only has one implanted one, he was using them earlier to control the paths but that was for a purpose other than fighting

he is using it .. only the outer path though ....\think about it if he could use the rinnegans power to its fullests then he would have.......it would be over powerd to use Kamui with rinngegan...
also i am assumiing that because he is not using two of them.... as well he ant use their full power too

maybe he can't use the rinnegan more than what he has shown already. maybe each rinnegan eye has its own techniques and he got the eye which would help him to control the jyubi and go ahead with the plan. maybe he is messing with them.
