[Discussion] Is Tobi really that strong

Ok...i have seen so many people put Tobi in their top 10, top 5 shinobis....etc some one even put him to be stronger than madara,hashirama and minato...and i want to ask, is tobi really that good...he told the kages he was a shell of himself (weakened by injury).
So far we have seen tobi in 3 fights
VS MINATO...his teleportation really annoyed minato but tobi still lost and minato stil had enough stamina to do what he did
VS FOO AND TORUNE... I agree that they were strong but he had to cut off his hand or die (he chose his hand) where did he get a hand from(probably a yard sale, lol)
VS KONAN...He had a really hard time with konan because she read his moves really well, had to use izanagi
NOTE: with the jinchuriki (he didnt capture himself) he is powerful but they arent his so i didnt count them..
HIS STRENGHT
1.he can teleport both part of his body and his whole self
2.He can suck u in
3.if u hav any put it!
HIS WEAKNESS
1. Cant use genjutsu
2. Cant use ninjutsu
3. Cant use taijutsu , senjutsu, dojutsu etc
4. He has to materialise to suck u in or even touch you
5. He can only suck things in 4 5mins at a time
6.he is slower when he sucks him self in
IS TOBI REALLY STRONG ...U JUDGE

there is a lot we dont know about tobi yet...!! for ex recent manga showed he can control biju..with white chains like Kushina...!!! n having izanagi which is suppose to b forbidden jutsu (only can b achieved with senju dna ) explains lot tht he is far more powerfull...!!

Well he can't use the Rennigan techs with his paths because he will lose control of the tailed beast within them. So he isn't that overpowered.

Who knows he was the leader of the most powerful group in the series, though he was pulling the string under the table, that's quite something. You need to be at least powerful enough or intelligent enough to do that. With his power, I don't think much can be said, I mean if I have a power like that I'd probably use it in any fights, it gives him a big advantage. If you can't physically hit someone, might as well say battle lost. We've seen only two things that could touch him, extreme speed and more than 5 minutes of constant explosion. He has other powers, but just doesn't need to use them since he can use these abilities. Yes he is extremely strong, but in many threads those uchihas fanboys have been making, they overpower and overrate him. Saying he's in the top 3, no he's not, there are some shinobis who can beat him, or give him a decent fight.

What I'm saying is that he hasn't shown any offensive power except for his space sucking jutsu if you think it's an offensive attack. We know too little of him to say he's in the top 3. The guy is just too mysterious.

Ok firstly u gat yo facts wrng. Tobi can use genjutsu as we saw him do it against konan so she could reveal where she hid nagatos body and pretty sure he is a good taijutsu user as well because we saw hin stop suigetsu's sword with his bare hand and finall tobi can suck himself in quick and only takes longer to suck other things in you had it the other way around

But from the stuff we have seen he seems to be good at what he does...

Genjutsu...Ninjutsu and Taijutsu..

We still have lots to see abotu Tobi soo....YEAH

he has the strongest space-time technique, as stated by minato himself.

he's intangible for 5 minutes at a time

he can warp people away to his dimension just by touching them.

his base izanagi is 5 minutes, with a whole room of sharingan at his disposal. we don't now how long it is with rinnegan. that means he can be untouchable for 10m at a time.

his genjutsu was powerful enough to cause an akatsuki member to reveal a secret. the same akatsuki members who were stated to not reveal anything even under torture

he's very skilled at using his s/t in close range, he caught minato twice, and defeated danzo's bodyguards easily. he's strong enough to block the executioner blade with one blow, a rasengan to the back merely wounded him, and he can replace bodyparts. so i'd say he's pretty strong.

he has 6 edo-jinchuuriki, all with the ability to transform into mini or full version of their bijuu. linked with rinnegan, and complemented the sharingan.

he has the strongest summon, gedo mazo. we all know how powerful it can be. furthermore, it has the one-tailed tanuki's chakra sealed into it.

he's definitely the strongest character in the series right now, and yeah that does include edo-madara.

With or without rinnegan he's ridiculously strong. You have to realize that being able to teleport and phase through anything is an extremely broken jutsu.

He can't ever be touched unless you have s/t jutsu.

Can't use taijutsu and dojutsu? Don't you know that Taijutsu was all he used against Fuu and Torune? Also that, gee, I don't know, he has a RINNGEGAN and a SHARINGAN?

1) the nine tails that could imply he had the MS.

2)He used on danzo's henchmen


To say he cant use ninjutsu is big stretch lets wait shall we.



As for putting tobi himself with the likes of madara hasihrama I too believe guys shouldnt put on any list until we see him not piss farting around for once.
