I have seen various review ratings out of Japan over 7/10. Most fan interviews and comments I have seen have been overwhelmingly positive.

Won't know for sure until I can watch the movie myself, but at the moment it appears only butthurt fanboys are hoping for it to flop. Of course, it has already been highly successful in terms of yen at the box office, so the only hope that is left those sourpusses is to hope that somehow it is diminished by critical reviews.
