Or is edo tensei limited in this respect?

Emm bout chiyo, she had to use her life energy for the life transfer tech, and since edo does not bring ppl to live, she wouldnt be able to ^^

As for nagato, his revival jutsu ( the one he used on konoha ppl ) was posible only to the ones that died recently, it also showed that it used this gate that looks like a face so the other revival pain doll* probobly had the same limitation


* imo the gate face means that its the same jutsu, so nagato had acces to it not only in the form of a pain doll

I think that the abilities of those who are revived with Edo Tensei are limited.

Imagine Nagato and Itachi fighting side by side? Who would be able to stop them? I mean pain would jut blow everyone up and those who managed to survive would be sealed with the sword of Totsuka...

I don't think its possible. For one Nagato can only bring back to life people who died not too long ago. Or else he'd have brought back Yahiko. And maybe Jiraiya.

Pain's revival jutsu seems to have some draw backs seeing how he couldn't bring back Yakio and Jiraiya from the grave. But what would happen if Edo tensei was used on Nagato's real body all they are doing is bringing back his soul???

Chiyo might work lol. But I don't think that the resurrection technique will grant Nagato to use the Life/Death Jutsu to bring everyone back to actual life.
