Is this just an artist mistake or?

I was looking through the manga from a month ago, and I noticed, on one page, Sasuke only as the secondary ring with tomoe on his Sharrinegan, yet in the next page, he has all 9 tomoe, 3 per ring, is this an artist mistake or was he supposed to have supposedly grown stonger in one page without any mention as to how?

What teleporting jutsu....the only teleporting jutsu in this manga i flying thunder god....

I think it was done that way to parallel the 9T in Sasuke's eyes to the tomoe on Naruto's back. I am starting to believe that Sasuke's eyes are the 9 Tomoe doujutsu split among two eyes. 6T Rinnengan on the more prominent side and 3T one the other. It seems like Kishi was too focused on symbolism to make a mistake like that.

It is accepted that Sasukes Sharrinegan's ability, is either stopping time or instant teleportation in a small radius. It is why Madara fled, because he knew the only match against Sasuke he could win would be long distance. It was never officially stated by was hinted at multiple times.

Except in everysingle other panel, he has 6 tomoe on 2 rings. Only reason I noticed this was because he had 9 tomoe, when he hadn't in any other panel

In every panel but this one, which is why I gthink it may be an artist mistake.

Sasuke lost a ring of tomoe each time he used his Rinnegan abilities . It could be that Sasuke closes his eye to help regenerate the tomoe for more uses. It's just a theory but until Kishi goes into detail about Sasuke's unique tomoe rinnegan we won't know for sure. But who knows maybe it is a drawing mistake and Sasuke just closes his eye to conserve chakra, seeing as Obito himself said the chakra of just one rinnegan was overwhelming on its own.

Lel sorry I kinda posted without actually reading the thread. To answer your question, on the first panel it looks like based on the shot it wouldn't be possible to include another ring of tomoe without blotching up the lower corners of the eye, so the second up close shot of the eye is used to tell how many tomoe his rinnegan actually has.

i just reread saukes rinnegan chap and sometimes up close he doesnt have any at all but then he has six again. so i guess mistake
