[Gimp] Is this good (beginner)

So I was screwing around with gimp and well my creative brain put this together. Im just starting to use gimp and just starting to edit images all together. Feedback and constructive criticism is appreciated.

I like the idea but the text ruined the whole scene. It should be better to place text at the bottom like a cinema poster design.

Nice idea! Good sense of perspective also, but try to better blend by applying shadows, taking note of the direction of your light source.
Also a few image adjustments would be nice. Unfortunately I use Ps not gimp so I can't help you there still it's not bad
