Is this Generation really stronger? Shinobi Nations OPINIONS

I was thinking earlier about how the current 700+ shinobi world seems really tame and weak compared to the last. Like apart from Naruto & Sasuke (who took more than their share of the gold)

the Kages seem tamer, the jonin weaker and just less significant legends to make up a Top 10 List. You know things are dire when you have to put Kiba in a Top 10 Strongest list haha

But then I compared the current line-up of the K11 Adults + the new Genin with Part 1's line-up and it suddenly became a hella lot harder to call the difference.

TAKE NARUTO & SASUKE OUT OF THE EQUATION OBVIOUSLY.

The likes of:

-Part 1 Kakashi / Konohamaru
-Might Guy / Rock Lee
-Iruka / Shino
-Tsunade / Sakura
-Kurenai / Hinata
-Asuma / Chouji

-Ay / Darui
-PTS Naruto / Boruto
-PTS Shikamaru / Shikadai
-PTS Kankuro / Yurui

-4th Kazekage / Bowlcut Gaara
-Old Hiruzen / Killer Bee
-PTS Neji / Mitsuki

Which time period would you say the Shinobi Nations feel generally stronger? Part 1 arguably has the stronger Kages & the Sannin. (Only 2 of which belonging to Nations) whilst Boruto period IMO has stronger genin. All of which at least capable of Chunnin and some clearly itching to go for Jonin rank already. Also, the teachers and the K11 grown up are partially stronger than the adults of Part One...who except Kakashi, Guy, Ibiki & Anko are all kinda pushovers.

In my opinion I would say NO, for example boruto. He didn't went through the same opposition his father went through. Rich kids will never be top boxers and the same applies here; Narutos genaration is top.

well naruto and sasuke can together own all other generations by themselves. they are tiers above the levels of sannin and kages of the past. but the current kage are only likely on a similar level or weaker.

Eh, i'd say the K11 in part one are pretty stereotypical candidates of their clans. Like, Kiba, Shino, Neji, Shikamaru, Ino, Sasuke & Chouji never really stray far from their birthrights.

I like the newbies in all, their maturity which seems more adult than most of Shippuden is what attracts me the most. It genuinely seems like a small taste of something new and refreshing. No more though please.

Sarada and chouchou where fighting on par with a mangekyo user BEFORE THEY EVEN GRADUATED FROM THE ACADAMY, and sarada was able to use the massive punches, still before being genin. shikadai used the shadow possesion far more effectively than shikamaru ever could.

The surpassing theme isn't really a literal thing by the way. It's been shown to rarely happen.

I think part one is stronger and they had more character as well. It's the experience the new generation that can be argued (along w/technology). Well the whole thing is subjective anyway, but I have a hard time seeing the new generation exceeding part 1.

Bro what. Shin was about to murder Cho CHo, and Shin had Sarada tripped from all the way across the map, and he wasn't even fighting her in CQC.

Don't downplay Shin.

OT; Naruto's generation solely because like someone said, these kids are too nurtured. Naruto's character alone in Part 1 shits on all of them, and that's pretty sad considering there were so many deep characters back in the day.

Darui beating the Gold & Silver brothers is but one example of surpassing the previous generation.

Everyone has intel on the past and learns from those mistakes. Training to make them irrellevant( Example being Kakashi & Gai having counters for Rinnegan Paths).

Also the previous generation passes on knowledge and skills to the new generation that they went through hell to get.

Give it time and the next generation surpasses the old. They already show much promise. Naruto and Sasuke are a given.

They overall surpass their parents, mainly Boruto not suffering from that piss poor skill his father had, and Sarada not suffering from the piss poor firepower her father had. The parents were meant to round each other out. Shikadai doesn't suffer from the lack of stamina. Metal Lee can probably mold chakra. ChoCho knows how to assert herself. Inojin probably will actually have combat skill.

Mitsuki is extremely promising.

Right now I'd say the previous generation seems stronger. However, I think the current generation has higher potential. Whether or not we get to see them reach their potential, only time can tell.
