I read the chapter... or skimmed it anyways and yeah does it even feel like Naruto anymore?

Like it feel like a completely new manga series that's not even apart of the Naruto Universe.

It feels cringey when I try to piece together what I grew up with with this.​

That's the most basic comment that I expected but it's in the same universe and is canon which is bad.

Stop trying to make it seem good because it's something "different" we didn't ask for this.

And I been compared it to GT with Kishi coming back to make a "Super" when this fails

Just wait till they start revealing the truth intentions for this series. It'll be just around the corner until we start talking about pairing wars, and the inflation of power levels.

Never stated it was 'good' just stated it was its own series but based off of old series characters. I consider it a spinoff and most spinoffs are terrible EXCEPT better call Saul

I think that's the point. I mean Boruto screams it in the beginning of his movie and manga that this is his story and his generations turn, not Naruto's and his generation. Part 1 Boruto is an action/slice-of-life genre compared to the action/drama genre of Naruto part 1 and 2. I'm sure by the time we get to "part 2" Boruto, it will switch over to the action/drama plot. It feels like the same universe, just upgraded into a more modern setting. I really don't have a problem with it with all of this in mind. I have my own complaints more from nit-picking than anything else.. but since I'm sitting here reading chapter 12 and plan on to continue reading and watching this new part of the universe I grew up with... I really can't complain every single month a chapter comes out or every single week an episode comes out. I feel like I wouldn't be justified if I say I hate it, but will keep reading/watching it. Ya know?

Well Boruto also has a Dojutsu, curse seal, and has Lightning and Water styles.

But those most likely will go down the gutter along with any other originality we can think of.
