Cus you can talk about laws but they can change depending on who is writing them, also, you can talk about common sense also but that also changes from time to time.
In theory there are a hundred things so many of us do wrong, that could be considered pure evil in someone elses standard, for example eating meat can be considered evil if you are really into being vegetarian.
I think that there is good and evil, where it comes from I don't know maybe we just make it up but it's smoething people have to care about or you risk hurting yourslef or others.
