Is there anyway an uchiha can break off a sound genjutsu ALONE like tayuyas?

We have seen tht itachi and sasuke caught up in tayuyas genjutsu and they were able to break it by looking into one anothers eyes.So if for eg Sasuke or Itachi was alone and caught up in the genjutsu,is there anyway he will be able to break Tayuyas genjutsu?

It is possible. The thing is uchiha are only resistant to visual based genjutsu. They are as vulnerable as anyone else to other forms of genjutsu. If they posses enough skill they should be able to break it

Itachi could if he had crow clones on standby prior to getting caught. He could just use those to break out of it.
