The "not being able to imagine it, so it can't happen" is nice and all, but for higher tier nigh-omnipotents, omniscients, and omnipotents, it won't be a match.

I'll use Pre-Retcon Beyonder, arguably the strongest nigh-omnipotent for an example. He is indeed omniscient, and with this omniscience comes a nearly unparalleled cosmic genius as well. He was stated by cosmics as millions of times above the marvel multiverse, and has proven this on countless occasions. He speaks concepts into and out of reality, casually choosing what is and what isn't, and can warp reality on a megaversal scale above dozens of multiversal reality warpers. He was once able to take out death from the entire marvel verse.

He, being omniscient, can simply force his existence into imagination of your character before the fight starts, or strip him of his divine powers.
