Is there any point in sm + km for naruto

I keep on hearing that the combination of sm + km would make naruto more or less invincible. Others argue that his potential is limitless with this. Now, from what we know if seems sm and km are very similar.

Sm gives the user increase in speed/strength/ chakra and allows them to sense chakra.

Km gives the user an increase in speed/strength/chakra and allows the user to sense bad/evil thoughts/emotions or whatever.

Basically both are very identical and a combination would just increase what the user already gets. Although this is a good thing, thats what the user would gain until we get more information.

Therefore is there really any point for this combination?

You forget to say that Sage mode multiply whatever ability you have, ninjutsu, taijutsu, genjustu or whatever so if Naruto can combine both then the KM will be at full limit.. I hope you know what i mean.. More speed, sense and more..

That is true to an extent, but i feel its pointless imo because i dont think the combination would gainhim anything new. Something he didnt have

maybe, it made me think when i watched the opening musik of the anime, go on the home page and watch the opening musik, its near the end, naruto is above the ocean flying, and he powers up and you see flames, then come respond and tell me what you think

Logically, his next element (if any) is water.

OOT: SM+KM would be the most overpowered taijutsu ever. The speed of FTG and you wouldn't even have to hit the opponent directly to land a punch @_@

true water is a good guess to, since he has worked with water before, but that opening scene gets me.

if their will be an sm+km, that will be the power to stop sasuke imo, because sasuke is in op mode

Combining them? he would be the most bada$$.

Also while they do seem similar you must remember that Km is just a huge boos of chakra, which is so great that actually forms a cloak around Naruto... which he uses for protection, and shapes it to create additional limbs or whatever he needs... Also the boos in speed is also due to the chakra.

Sage mode on the other hand, just like Shikaku said is on a whole other level than regular chakra... it uses Natural energy, which is something more powerful (in my opinion ) than just chakra.

Right now, using them individually gives all of his attributes a boost: speed, strength, resistance, power... but combining them would just get him near perfection:
-In Km he took some beating, took direct punches and whatnot and wasn't really that affected... and in SM he fell from the op of the damn mountain right into sharp pointed rocks and he didn't really felt a thing.
-In Km he was able to dodge Raikage (the fastest ninja around) and in SM his reflexes were so good that he also dodged and counterattacked the Third Raikage.

I do agree, but his taijutsu in sm or km mode alone is crazy. His speed in km is faster than v2 A. As i said it would just improve the abilities he has already gained and i dont believe its worth it.

He should increase his ninjutsu pool instead imo

Naruto is already able to make clones that can go into Sage mode or KM mode. I dont think there is any point in learning to use them together.

The kyuubi has only been shown using Fire in the anime, not the manga :/ and Naruto's name suggests he has some sort of lineage with water.

Remember the Naruto bridge that was named after him after the Zabuza arc? there is an actual bridge called 'The Great Naruto bridge' that crosses a river of whirlpools. Kushina Uzumaki came from Uzusiogakure, the village hidden among the whirling tides within Uzu no Kuni; Land of the Whirlpools which was wiped out. Also, the mark of a spiral that represents a whirlpool is commonly used on Naruto's costumes.

Also, as seen with Yamato (and Guren arc), wind works well with water so it could foreshadow things to come. Additionally, it would be sort of lame for Naruto to learn fire since Sasuke already has it and we've somewhat seen a fair few Katon techniques and Water hasn't really been shown as much as other elements imo. Though I don't see Naruto learning another element any time soon since he only knows like 2 wind techniques ~_~

Well I think that any increase in powers is worth it in my opinion. But I also agree completely with this post, I've said several times in threads that if Naruto actually spent time training he could be insane.

I mean think about it, he made the rasenshuriken in two days or something like that.

With his clones and immense chakra levels and now the 9-tails at least tolerating him he can make hundreds of clones and make groups of them learn different things. Within a year he could master all of the non-KG jutsu that has been shown in the manga. He could learn more jutsus than Oro or Hiruzen combined, and he could use them all because of his chakra levels.

But Kishi would never do that because if he made Naruto actually go to his potential, there would never be anyone to fight against him. Naruto has all he needs to become the best.

nice wording, now i believe that naruto will learn water, im convinced, so i repped you for that. it would make sense, since wind beats lightning, and water gets fire, it would all fall into place.

naruto has his own massive chakra made of physical and spiritual energy
SM naruto has 3 types ie physical ,spiritual and natural energy
KM naruto has 3 types ie physical ,spiritual and Tailed beast

So SM+KM will create a never seen before 4 energy combo this creates limitless possiblities .

1.In this mode Naruto will be the Fastest Ninja Ever he will be as fast as ftg without ftg (as he is already very fast at short range in km and sm gives speed boost + long range sensing capabilities.
2.His taijutsu will go through the roof.He will have instant regeneration he may even be able to regenrate body parts.
3.Others cannot absorb his chakra cause sage chakra makes you into frogs and tailed beast chakra cant be handled that easily.
4.He will be immune to genjutsu as Kyubi can help there (SM+KM will mostly be possible only if kyubi agrees to help naruto else his chakra control will fail since 4 types of chakra)
5.His ninjutsu abilities will be godlike , he is uzumaki so large chakra + chakra of tailed beast + nature chakra .

In short he will achieve the ultimate body i.e body of So6p who was a sage+jinchuriki
