Buddhism.. One of the few if not the only religion that focusses solely on spirituality and the exploration of the inner self.

I truly believe that with all followed the ways of the Buddhist which focus on peace, though if we choose to have god's and such. i truly believe the world would be a better place.

i consider myself somewhat buddhist, i was raised with the beliefs in a buddhist family but we're not super religious. same common sense/morals and all in the end. i consider myself spiritual and maybe a little agnostic

I was not brought up in a particular religious believe. However I do believe in jesus and god/the creator and i do think Buddhism is a good way to live. Apart from the spiritual self improvement I feel it is similar to the guidelines in the bible. (allthough i am no expert, please correct me if wrong)

actually your partially correct. in a way the bible concord with many ways of peace, however, it is stated that in most simular way

violence is only used out of necessity and i think that what makes them unique. for it teaches us never to place our own judgement on another.

like say, i have gay friends, and you know my dad absolutely hates homosexuals. i don't in fact some of the nicest people i know are homosexual, it just that we focus on what the media tells us, blah blah blha.

look kids, if you listen to the news everyday your going to hate life, because the news is going to air something that strikes a emotional cord in the human heart

the cords easiest to strike is

fear
anger
sadness

the hardest for all to strike
is
love
happiness
and nirvana (which we can only achieve through mediation, and accepting our own purpose in the life we are given.)

Well said, the world would be a better place if we stop making assumptions and accept people as they are. We all are one. Yet everyone walks his/her own path based on the information he has available. We should focus less on what we are told (media) and experience life for your self.

@Rosh2
I am not really sure what to believe when thinking about enlightenment, on one hand i think we can achieve it when we open our third eye throught meditation and increasing our vibrations and on the other hand i think we can achieve it when we surrender to jesus and attone for our sins.
