Yeah I must admit, Nagato didn't destroy the whole Konoha and most of it's ninjas.... Jiraiya, Kakashi (he could have been Hokage) and Danzou.... And don't over estimate Itachi, I'm sure he was at the Hokage level or beyond.

I should have said Hiruzen in his prime due to him being the proclaimed "God of Shinobi" but Naurto and Killer B would be a better choice due to Nagatos mobility issues. Thanks for all the replies as of now.

I never said at Hokage level. I said they aren't strong as them.

Also Your talking about Nagato himself or his Paths? And he already admit that Jiraya would've killed him.. Same for Itachi..

I honestly think they'd reem the kages. A madara stronger than hashirama has ever faced, the best edo tensi ever, the strongest jinchuriki & best frog sage mode master ever only person who mixed rasengan with nature chakra and true massss shadow clone, & the strongest uchiha besides madara only one ever to control ameterau only ever besides madara to have ems izanami user and he'll probably gain a significant power up soon. They'd eat the kage alive, the kage do have experience on the young members though, but madara would more than make up for it

I didn't say old was better than new, I think the new generation is better than the old with the exception of hashi and madara. I'm saying in the manga and anime it was repeatedly stressed that hashirama and madara were the two strongest ninjas (not counting sage of six paths) to exist. Look at the 4th he was considered great, but the 9 tailes killed him and his wife who was also a good nin. Madara made the 9 tails his bitch and hashirama beat madara and the 9 tails at the same time. There's a big gap in power between them and all the other kages. With that being said the current generation has given rise to some of the greatest ninja of all time some of whom like naruto and sasuke are destined to surpass all the previous although the aren't there yet. I'm not saying old over new by any means, you should know that by looking at my list, kabuto has surpassed orochimaru and surpassed the second hokage in his own jutsu edo tensei and orochimaru is the one who beat the third, naruto as it is right now he's not even at his full potential and he's become the best jinchuriki ever best toad sage ever and created the rasenshuriken which is something his father the fourth could never do, and sasuke only person ever other than madara to gain ems one of the 3 (I'm assuming madara can use it) to ever be able to use izanami and the only one ever to control ameterasu. New generation over old with the exception of madara and hashirama
