I'm not sure there is a way for him to defeat Madara solely because Madara now is Madara + Hashirama. I guess the way I see it is that if Hashi is an expert in medical jutsu he can do something like what Tsunade did to Kabuto and mess up his body's orientation and, while Madara figures out what happened, seal him. That's just about all I can think of, though.

The only reason why he's saying this is probably because he wants a real challenge and not waste his time with 5 pathetic kages at his mercy. He wants someone to revive hashirama so he could show his TRUE powers this time.
