Is there a main religion in NV?

,but do they hail Hagoromo as god or a religion or NV mainly secular.

buddhism is used a lot, hashirama buddha summoning, lot of statues are some form of a buddha,even one of the folder charaters talks about buddha , not sure what episode it was but it was in part one

There are a LOT of parallels and shoutouts to buddha culture. Whether they're just cashing in on buddhist iconography for the sake of it who knows but yeah, the temple seems to imply Buddhism is the main religion.

That said it would've been mentioned by now by at least one main or supporting character if it were a big thing. Ninjas are warriors yknow? They don't have time for religion it seems.
