New members do not know how to edit their posts. And brake the rules frequently (Well most of them i presume). I don't know if there is a guide about the "edit" button. If there is poste the link here if there is not then someone who has a lot of experience with guides should make one. It will help :)

I don't believe there is an Edit Guide.
Whats is it you don't understand about editing a post?

What do you mean?
Any post you make, there's the edit button right there. Just left click and change what you want changed.

I'm sorry, but I feel the word "edit" on the button itself is self-explanatory. It shouldn't take a new member long to figure out that it's there and what it does.

Just click "Edit" then click "Go Advanced"

If I'm correct that should help you out

If you want help, you should be a bit more specific.
If you're one of these "new members that have problems", give your situation and we'll do what we can.

With what? It's their problem that they're blind or don't want to edit their posts. A guide on how to edit your post won't change that. There is nothing to guide you through. You click the button and edit your post. How hard is that?

On the other side, I'd rather see a guide on how to behave and how to write proper English. More would benefit from that.

What kind of problems?. I mean using the edit button is pretty easy and I don't believe its a science. Just press the edit button, Edit what you wish to edit either if its a spelling mistake, add something, etc. I don't believe its hard. I mean like Tai said Edit is pretty self explanatory

If you want, I can make a guide on how to utilize the edit button to correct multi-posting and other related issues, but unless you link the new members to it, they'll never read it.

Make the guide (especially for correct multi-posting and other related issues) because if there is someone who will have problems with this i think they will search the guide if they don't then we will send it to them!

I still think they won't read it even if you send them the link. ;/

If this forum really has to put a guide up for editing, then we must really have the dropouts of the special class on this forum

Only time someone doesn't edit: They don't feel like it. During that time, they risk infraction. Simple as that.

I can somewhat understand the laziness when a thread is active and you submit a post and see a new response that was posted while you were typing, but it's not that difficult to figure out that you hit "Quote" on the new post, then copy the quote, and then edit it into your post along with whatever your reply would be.

I do too, but bottom line is the idea for an editing guide is really ridiculous.

I know it sounds stupid (a guide about how to use the "edit" button) and i know there are many people here who are lazy but also there are some people who don't know how to edit (but the numbers are small and i don't think they need a guide for such an easy thing) btw i made this because i don't want the posts of those people to be seen as spam
