Lee kept me going for the first half of the first series but then that changed with me wanting to know more about all of K11 after their fights in SRA, then Akatsuki for Shippuden since they all seemed to be an odd bunch of characters lol.

I have always loved Sasuke, but I plenty of characters grabbed by interest in part 1 and early part 2:

- Neji and Lee.
- Orochimaru and Kabuto.
- Sasori and Tobi.
- The Ame Orphans.

After these characters were done, had it not been for Sasuke, I would have dropped this manga ages ago.

sorry i just wanted to know why since it's weird like i don't hate sakura right now but in part 1 she was really unlikable by almost everybody

I agree she was very unlikable, but trust me, her bashers are around the corner. And before long, this thread will turn into a Sakura versus Hinata shit-fest.

Jiraiya was an amazing character and thank god Kishi didnt mess him up. But I never needed a character to make me stay I always loved Naruto, except when fillers hit

Naruto/Sasuke. I was waiting for their final fight the whole time (tho it's not like I was gonna drop the series anyway). The actual fight didn't reach my expectations (btw check my sig out if you want to watch a fan-made animation of their fight). I expected more from it; their fight only lasted four chapters long and most of it was just flashbacks/talking. However, the conclusion of their fight certainly made up for the wait. It was satisfying to see Sasuke finally opening up his true feelings to Naruto and joining hands with him. The whole scene was executed beautifully, especially when the amount of symbolism incorporated into it was astounding.
