Code Geass is on like everyone's list. Can someone explain to me how it differs from your traditional mecha anime? And explain to me how the ending was in anyway a solution for peace on the planet.

My main grievances were lack of an explanation of the origin/purpose C2s Code of Immortality or Geass for that matter, Suzaku's apparent immortality driven purely by his insane willpower which allows him to fight on par using his aging Lancelot against next gen Knightmares, and most importantly the idea that by making everyone on the planet hate him, then staging his death at the hands of the mythical "Zero", Lelouch believes he's achieved world peace.

It's been quite a few years since I've watched this one so forgive me if I'm wrong somewhere

Also Shinsekai Yori is the greatest animu of all time.

I rated FMAB a 10 but mostly because its widely viewed as such, I'd probably have it more of a 9.5 so I'll leave it off the list.

Monster is a ****ing 20000, not a 10.

OT: Hunter x Hunter 2011 is my fav. anime so far. In the list there'd be Monster and Death note too. Death Parade also approaches the list, but to me it lacks a second season.

Great post man.. wondered exactly it is that mafe Code Geass so liked. Its an okay anime but it doesnt seem like it deserves the accolades it has. Or maybe itd just my dislike for anything Mecha lol

And yeah...Shinsekai Yori is best anime ever
