[Nintendo Wii] is the Wii U worth buying?

I'm thinking about buying one, I've always had fun playing Mario Kart with my younger sister and father, and since seeing the latest Mario Kart 8 gameplays, I'm really thinking about getting one.

Worth it or nah?

i love my Wii U... with Watchdogs, "Project X", Mario Kart, Mario Party AND... SUPER SMASH BROS!!!
they're just around the corner... and i'd advise anyone to buy it!

Pikmin 3 (already out)
Zelda HD (2015)
One Piece Unlimited World Red (39 days left)
Demon Tribe (2014)
Hyrule Warriors (2014)

and tons of other games coming up... i love it!!

Piece of Advice though: buy the Mario Kart Bundle!!

I have a Wii U and I have been a nintendo fan for as long as I can remember.

I would recommend waiting until the new Super Smash Bros. comes out before purchasing.

There will be more games by then to make the Wii U library more enjoyable, as there is just not enough games for it as is right now.

Just buy a GameCube because mario kart double-dash for the cube is the best one ever. I owned at that game. I wish they had tournaments for it I'd join one, and win it. Suck at the other ones though.

don't forget about Super Mario Sunshine!!! best game i ever played (after Zelda ofc, which is my favorite franchise)

Mario cart double dash was like the Best Mario Cart ever also i would get the wii u if you have people who come over a lot like a bunch of friends that come over all the time. Thats when I have alot of fun with it.

I love my Wii u. Super Mario 3d world and the new super Mario and Luigi bros are amazing. I can't wait till smash bros comes out. The Wii u is awesome. You can also watch Netflix and hulu on the controller too

I'd truly say it is. Wind Waker HD is a good bit of fun, and I've enjoyed Pikmin 3 and Monster Hunter Ultimate. Mario Kart 8 and the upcoming Smash bros should be the icing on the cake.

No I wouldn't recommend buying it.
I have one and it's just collect dust.
Played on it a few times with games such as legend of Zelda and donkey kong.
The console in my opinion is easy to get bored with and the games that are out on it.

Nintendo really needs to get on the ball with releasing games that will grab the attention of more mature gamers.
Or just come up with a new console.

Prefer to play on the ps4 though.
Which ever since i started going out with my GF and having less time playing games,my ps4 is sadly collecting dust as well
With Wolfenstein: The New Order and DOOM not being on the Wii U it's already putting me off.
I'll be playing on the wii u even more if Fallout 4 comes out for the console
