[Question] Is the Weekly Shonen Jump app good ? & Mini rant

Since hearing about this piracy BS I'm thinking on paying weekly for the subscription if it's accurate week by week so I won't hear spoilers in the grape vine. Is it good ?


Little rant sometimes I wish Japan and the rest of the world could release their stuff at the same time kinda like what their doing with Poke'mon now. Cause right now Japan is probably the coolest country in the world and if all we know HOTD could have 40 chapters right now and due to the piracy their holding out on us !!! Cause without WSJ on Wednesday it's just another lame hump day with classes and damn work. It's bad enough Fairy Tail been affected of this cause it through off my schedule into reading it.

WSSJ never comes on Wednesday. It gets on the shelf on Monday. Pirated scans came earlier because they shipped the issue to book stored too early. Now they are closing the gap to a day before or something to avoid leaked scans.

In simple words you were reading the manga before those who buy it from store every week.

That's why they sell video games in different countries right? Cause people who live in different countries buying their stuff deosn't helped them.

OK let see 1st you shouldn't confuse manga with other stuff in japan like cars and video games,
Manga is exclusively belong to japan, its something what you called culture/tradition, they're the only whose capable of making it, no other country can, which is why the biggest and most influential manga's market is in Japan,

Now here you're blabbing about you want people to support the mangaka by buying their series instead of reading it for free, well its a honorable thing to say, but none of our support is actually matter nor its going to help the series, why ?

Because what count is what happen in Japan, you see when they're about to animate/publish/serialize something, what counts is what the Japanese think of it, if the series get a good reception/sales/rating/enthusiasm then the series will continue, but if its not then they will immediately axed the series,

Regardless what foreigners like you did to support the series, they will cancelled it because the Japanese don't like it,
there is a lot of series out there was loved by overseas fans and it sells pretty well outside japan, but the series is cancelled just because their Japanese sales sucked,

So what you're trying to do is pretty much useless, your contribution to the series is less than 1% and will not change anything at all. which is why you're no different that those who read the manga for free because yours and their contribution means nothing at all.
