Is The Susanoo A Conscious Being?

I was just thinking while updating my Sig, I mean is he an actual being that is fully aware of his surroundings when being summoned? Like say for example the Reaper Death Seal God? Or is he just a manifestation of an armoured knight thing that provides no actions of his own whatsoever?

Random question I know but thoughts?

Yeah as he is the Complete Susanno I was thinking along the lines of him taking over Madara's being and going on a complete rampage, it would be interesting to see how everyone deals with the ultimate defence.

Well Tsunade was actually able to break it before it turned into Perfect Susano'o. It isn't in a realm of impossibility that Naruto or Bee could break it too.
